Bringing Up Baby was the favorite film of Soviet dictator Leonid Brezhnev. The screwball Cary Grant-Jane Russell comedy was screened at the Kremlin more than 300 times from 1965-79. Brezhnev was so taken with Russell that he personally designed a special brassiere for her, which was hand-delivered to the 63-year-old actress by ambassador Andrei Gromyko in 1975.
