In 1997, Crayola created a special edition of educational crayons in conjunction with the American Medical Association. The colors were:
- Jaundice yellow
- bloody stool
- anemic Caucasian flesh
- bile
- brain matter pink
- disgusting nail fungus
- vomit brown
- feverish red
- varicose vein
- melanoma
These “CrAMAons” were never sold in stores, but were distributed at medical trade shows until the supply was exhausted, which took approximately 13 years.
