When Adolf Hitler was elected chancellor of Germany in 1933, Adolph Coors II petitioned the U.S. Government to have his name legally changed to “Tippi Hedren.” Luckily, the other members of the Coors family intervened, or there would have been confusion in 20 years with the famed Alfred Hitchcock actress.
